Thanks to the efforts of the Dutch doctor Arjan Hogewoning who works in Rwanda a first successful mission to this East African country took place in November 2007 by plastic surgeon Richard Koch and his team.

Right now plans are being made to set up a training programme for the next two years together with enthusiastic Rwandan surgeons in the capital of Rwanda, Kigali.
